Consultation on Temporary Suspension of Emergency General Surgery Services in SWAH Enniskillen23rd January 2023
The Western Health and Social Care Trust has launched a Public Consultation on the temporary suspension of Emergency General Surgery in South West Acute Hospital. WHSCT are keen to hear your views on this issue.
The consultation paper sets out the reasons why WHSCT had to make the decision to avoid an unplanned and unsafe collapse of services and the actions taken to ensure patient safety.

The consultation will be open for 12 weeks from 17th January 2023 until 10th April 2023.
There are a number of ways to get involved. You can participate in a public engagement event. WHSCT will also carry out a number of online events. Click here to register for an event close to you.
Alternatively there will be a number of tickets available to collect at local venues – more information will be on Social Media platforms.
