Exciting Chief Executive Opportunity with PCC

2nd December 2022

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-changing organisation which is responsible for ensuring that Health and Social Care Services are actively shaped by the needs and experience of patients, clients, carers and communities, to enable them to live the best lives they can. The Chief Executive (Accounting Officer) will provide the leadership to take forward an ambitious programme of change which
will enable the PCC to deliver more for service users.

This is a senior and influential position requiring an outstanding leader, demonstrating authority and credibility in working for and with service users and service providers within the health and social care system. The Chief Executive is responsible for ensuring that an independent voice for patients/clients is heard by the range of policy development, commissioning and service delivery organisations within the sector whilst maintaining influential and successful relationships with the key players within and without the system.

This requires strong leadership skills, the ability to think strategically, deliver operationally and to be an articulate, convincing communicator and relationship builder who will be a strong advocate for patients and clients.

If you are shortlisted it is anticipated that an assessment centre exercise will take place on Thursday 19th Jan 2023 and final interviews will be on Wednesday 1st Feb 2023.

Informal discussion regarding this post can be arranged with Vivian McConvey, Chief
Executive PCC on 07771924883.  Further details and application forms can be downloaded from PCC_Chief Executive – HSCNI Jobs

Closing date: Friday 23rd Dec 2022 at 12:00 Noon.
