Information sessions for people who are deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing

A series of meetings will take place across Northern Ireland to highlight a new service providing communication support for people who are Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing.

From 1 April Sign Language Interactions will provide a central service for people who need communication support when accessing health and social care services.

The meetings will be attended by representatives from Sign Language Interactions and Health and Social Care.

The information sessions will be held in:

  • Corr’s Corner, Newtownabbey on Wednesday 8 March at 7pm
  • Kinghan Church, Belfast on Thursday 9 March at 11am
  • Hands That Talk, Dungiven on Friday 10 March at 7pm

The meetings are open to everyone and there is no need to register in advance.

Details of further meetings will be announced later in the month.
