  • Queen’s University Medical School Seeking Views on Medical Student Education

It is envisaged that this group would meet a few times per year. At the first meeting they will give a brief outline of the present curriculum and highlight where patients and clients are involved in teaching.
They will then seek suggestions about themes that you or we would like to explore and discuss over the course of subsequent meetings.

They would like to hear from individuals who are keen to help influence the training of a future generation of doctors so that they are best equipped for caring for patients and clients.
Involvement of patients and clients in teaching is a long established part of the training of doctors.

  • Shared Decision Making Framework

This workshop will focus on the one-to-one relationship between the patient/service user, their families/carers and their care professionals.
It hopes to identify best practice in relation to shared decision making and develop a ‘Shared Decision Making framework’.
There is a choice of two locations for ease of travel.

  • 12th November Dunsilly Hotel, Antrim 10am – 3.00pm
  • 13th November Seagoe Hotel, Portadown 10am – 3.00pm

You can select the workshop that suits you best.
