Have you been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or early Alzheimer's?

People diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or early Alzheimer’s Disease aged 50-80 years from a memory clinic are being invited to take part in an eye imaging research study.

This is called the REVEAL Study to investigate how the structures of the eye could indicate early changes of Alzheimer’s disease.

Individuals are invited to come to the Northern Ireland Clinical Research Facility (Belfast City Hospital) for some vision tests and photographs of the inside of the eyes. They would also like to take tear, spit (saliva) and blood samples, along with completing some straightforward memory and behavioural tests.

They can organise the visit at a time that suits you in 2025.
